Gilda Farvid
Solutions Architect

Gilda Farvid is a Solutions Architect in the Consulting Systems Engineering organization at NetApp. In this role, Gilda is responsible for designing and architecting solutions for NetApp customers, including Top Enterprise Accounts. She joined NetApp in 2004 and has been the subject matter expert for Data Protection & Retention and Indexing & Classification solutions. Prior to NetApp, she held several software engineering positions at companies such as Sun Microsystems and other start-ups in the Valley.

With over ten years of Information Technology industry experience, Gilda has a unique blend of software engineering and customer-facing knowledge which she applies in her current role where she enjoys presenting and architecting NetApp's value proposition to key customers. As a thought leader and technology enthusiast, Gilda focuses on how to best solve customer problems while promoting the value and advantages of NetApp solutions. Gilda is a NetApp Certified Expert as well as a NetApp Certified Solutions Architect, holding nine NetApp industry certifications. Gilda also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management and enjoys living in her beautiful native hometown of Palo Alto, California.
