Enterprise Storage Forum posted an article by Drew Robb about pNFS, which has some quotes from various people in the storage industry including me.
Drew writes in the article:
NetApp is shipping NFS 4.0 now, and plans to provide an NFS 4.1 server later this year or early next year.
I'm not sure where Drew got those time frames from, but since NetApp's policy (a good one in my opinion) prevents me from publicly disclosing planned release dates, I'm pretty sure the dates did not come from me.
I'll follow up with a more detailed response to the article. Right now, I'm packing for a trip home.
