Mgm't Integration, Mgm't Integration, Mgm't Integration...

As much as it gets parodied, the reality is that the lifeblood of Microsoft's extensive reach with customers is the ability to allow developers and parters to extend value to their platform through tight integration. Allowing partner products with unique value to gain access to the massive installed base of Microsoft customers.
Continuing our commitment to open, flexible, value-driven solutions, we are extending our Microsoft management integration for both virtual and non-virtual environments.
- SnapManager for Hyper-V (SMHV)
-
SnapManager 6.0 for
Microsoft Exchange Server (SME)
- Appliance Watch PRO 2.0
Especially in virtualized environments, what we've learned over the past couple of years, is that providing the most efficient storage solutions is only half the requirement. Providing linkages into the management and operations of both VMs and Applications is key to customers unlocking the cost savings and operational value.
These announcements build on reference architectures, best practices, and unique capabilities that we've shown in the past around Virtualization and Application integration for Microsoft and NetApp environments.
We try and focus this blog on all things virtualization, but if you're looking for more in-depth discussion about all things Microsoft + NetApp, I highly recommend you check out our Microsoft Alliance Engineering blog. Lee Gates (Sr.Manager - Microsoft Alliance) has more details on these announcements here.
